For the Nine
costumes, I wanted to display the contrast between the two characters and make
them look like your average women. This situation could happen to anyone,
literally or figuratively. Number 2 is similar to the spunky younger sister
type, so I chose bright colors and an uneven skirt. Considering Number 1 seems
to have been locked up longer plus her fate, she is in a more mature outfit
(but still spunky in pattern), which includes red. Distressing the clothing and
making their skin dirty are requirements because they have been tortured and
where they are is not sanitary.
